Steamboat
Had a really big group of friends for steamboat this evening at USJ 21. The steamboat shop was the one with the famous "middle finger" sinage. Of course it isn't a middle finger. It's just a steamboat with an extremely long "funnel" ( I don't know what that thing is called. So sue me =) ). Hitched a ride in Ivan's Myvi. Tailing behind us were two other cars. At one of the traffic light, I peered out of the car window with my camera and took a shot of them.
By the time we got there, the girls were already having their drinks =0. Who says that only girls can be fashionably late? Alright, we claimed the three tables which were previously booked by Mr. Da Wei I suppose. Thanks alot! We joined the three tables to make it look like a three leaf clover. Shortly after everyone arrived, the raw materials came! Wohoo!
Took some pictures before eating. Ate in a short while.
Found a strand of hair on my plate while eating. Guess which part of the body did the hair come from? I don't know. You guess =). We paid up around 8.30 PM. I went home with a few others while the others went to Asia Cafe to continue with the night. Thanks Chee Cheng for the ride home. Thou hath proven thy skill!

Waffle!
Today's a big milestone in my life! First time setting up a business in college! Woot! Stay tuned for the updates.
Rotaract and A-Levels club members (mostly my classmates) got the stall up around 10.30 AM or so. Jeevitha started off by making a waffle for Mr. Sam but by the time it was ready, he was already in the middle of a meeting. I bought that waffle instead, which means I'm the first customer! Woot! Had margarine and kaya for fillings. It was great. Just nice.
The making of the bubble tea was done by Sheow Pin and Boey. They caught up with the waffle section by getting their first customer, which wasn't me. Sadly. Oh well, I got myself a peach & mango bubble tea. It was nice except for the "pearls". Ack, I don't like the taste of it. Wonder why many people do? Maybe I'm just plain weird. Heh. Things started to get real busy not too long later. By eleven something, we ran out of raw materials to make waffles. I tagged along with Jeevitha to get more of the ingredients.
For that, we had to park at SS14 and exercise our way back to college. By the time we got back, it was already 1 PM. We managed to sell off everything by the end of the day. More to come tomorrow! Get your waffles!!

What happened to the cake?
Gee! What happened to this chocolate banana cake? Stay tuned to find out!
If you're still wondering what happened to the cake, wonder no more! It got eaten by us. Ha ha. Well, why the cake? It was to celebrate Xin Ning's birthday ( Sorry, I had some hearing problems ). Never heard of her? Well, she's from another class, S2. We had a moral test today right after our usual 2.00 - 4.00 PM moral lecture. Which means we would've ended at 6.00 PM today! No way that's going to happen. The guys and I raced through the moral paper and finished it before the thirty minutes minimum time set for us. Hanged out at the A-levels office for a while. And yeah, the celebration was supposed to be a surprise!
Went to Mc Donalds around 5.30 PM, spotting Da Wei and his classmate there. Other than them, members of ICF were present. "Coincidence" apparently. Had to wait awhile before giving the "surprise" as the cake was not present. Minutes later, the chairperson of ICF with his friends stormed in with a cake. Then came the singing. The candles were blown out too quick for the cameraman to react. Aw, sober. The birthday girl made a long list of wishes after that.
It was time to cut the cake and serve the people! Wohoo!! Chocolate cake. Not to mention photo sessions too! Of course I wasn't in the photo silly, I'm the cameraman. Ha ha. Wait, you can't possible eat the cake with the candle still in place! What now? Remove it with thy mouth! Muahaha. Attempts were made to have the birthday girl's face covered with chocolate cake. However, let's just not waste food shall we? =)

Mass Communication Day
The mass communication students organise a "Mass Com Day" on Wednesday. I think it's a usual ordeal for them every semester. They had some performances to go along with the model competition. If I'm not worry, that's exactly the same agenda as the previous semester. Check my archives will ya?
The event kicked off with two emcees giving an introduction. The usual ordeal. A group of three dancers went on the stage after that. What dance did they perform? I don't know. The dance moves were "outrageous", according to the guy emcee! Next was hip hop performed by six other students, four of them were girls and the rest guys (of course). Of the four girls, two of them later joined the model competition and one of them was the emcee herself!
As for formality, Principal Margaret Ong went on stage to give a speech. Speech ended soon after, kicking off the model competition.
The highlight of the day, the model competition. Mass communication students were the models of course. There were a total of eight or so. They wore casual clothes for the first catwalk.
They went down the stage and changed to their formal dress. All in a brief moment.
And that's the end of the catwalk. Moving on, the models were asked a question each. Like what you would expect in a Miss Universe contest.
Another performance after the questionaire. This time it was a song. By who? I have no idea. During this time, viewers casted their votes on who should win the model competition. Again, popularity won the competition for the winner.
It was the time everyone was waiting for after that. The most photogenic model and the winner was announced. Didn't expect any of those two to win anything. Honestly. Hampers were also given out ot the performers as well as the other models who didn't win.
