Where everyone speaks!

Nicholas just bought his DSLR a few days ago, alright, maybe a week ago. Settled for the Nikon D40 as it was the most affordable DSLR on the market. Even though it is considered an entry level for the DSLR world, I am pretty amazed with the colours it produces. Especially under incandescent lightings. My Canon 400D works poorly under those with auto white balance on. A plus point to the Nikon family! However, I prefer the sharpness of Canon's. Which is why I am in the light side.

With DSLRs getting cheaper by the day, owning one is nothing to shout about. Anyone can buy one of the shelves and proceed with a snapping frenzy. However, with the increase of DSLR owners, it has in someway benefited me. I have people to take photos of me!! W00t! Pictures were taken by Nicholas but it is my face so I'm copyrighting it xD. No, I can't play the piano, so don't ask me to play for you. =)

The end is near. My time here will be over soon. How soon you ask? Five days more! Hope to meet all you readers again then. Alright, enough with that! As it is reported in the newspapers, the PMR results are out today! Congratulations to those who scored straight A's - you know who you are. For those who didn't achieve what they sought for, this is not the end for life's race has only just begun. When you are much advanced in your years, you will realise that PMR has only played a small part in your life. Well, it is just a admission ticket to the stream of your choice - for me at least. Don't cry over spilt milk. Look forward and redeem yourself in the coming SPM!

You'll be hearing alot of "Form 4 is not a honeymoon year!" from all your teachers. Cheers!

On my usual routine of sending out season greetings via Friendster - came across the same problem again, as I did earlier in the morning. It makes me wonder whether friendster is limiting comments on an hourly basis or per day. I can't find the "Add Comment" button on anyone's friendster page! There goes my norm of sending everyone in my list seasonal greetings. Sigh. I have just returned from Singapore today. It was a pleasant and short journey, didn't encounter any traffic congestion at the causeway. Who in the right mind would leave Singapore on a Christmas Day? Heh. Me and family.

It's my last day in Singapore - also Christmas Day! Wishing all you readers a Merry Christmas from Singapore! Those on my friendster list would have received the card below although some would not yet as there is a problem with my friendster. I can't send out anymore comments. Sigh.

Attended the Comic Fiesta at Times Square on Sunday. Went there by train, taking the KTM ot KL Central and then the monorial to the Imbi Station. Left home at 12.30 PM with a friend of mine who drove me to the KTM station and met another friend there. Reached the destination at 2.00 PM and made our way to the 6th floor of Times Square. I was expecting a nice hall with pleasant interior but no, it was as though it was still undergoing renovations. Lightings? A few spotlights and the ultimate source of light, the sun. Paid RM 10 for the ticket. It was packed! Had trouble moving around and also to compose my shots. Yes, I met a few LYN forumers there as well! Alright, enough talk, time for the pictures. Had dinner there and went home soon after. It was definitely a good field trip - improving photography skills and also confidence to ask the cosplayers for a picture. =) Cheers!
