Where everyone speaks!

Had 2 periods of chemistry today which is before school ends.
Went to the lab and we we're taught how to make soap!
How cool is that?

All you need is :
10ml of Oil
50ml of NaOH
50ml of distilled water
3 spatula of NaCl


















Well being me
I didnt think small.... heh
So my group tripled everything we needed
we were only provided with 250ml beakers
so we had to ask the lab assistant for the 500ml
after much convincing we finaly got it from her.. lol
We added 30ml of oil and 150ml of NaOH
mixing the concuction was fun
till it didn't boil for a very very long time
We realised that we were using only 1 bunsen burner
then we took 2 more busen burners and lit it..
the liquid in the beaker immediately bubbled.. lol
so we took of 1 and it was left with 2..
then we took the heat source away and mixed the concuction
with 9 spatulas of NaCl and 150ml of distilled water
Then the soap began to form
but with so much ingredients
only VERY little soap could be made...
man... high input low production.... company bankrupt lor... haha
