Monday blues
Class stared with biology today. The lecturer tested us on biological molecules structures. It ranged from the simple glucose to the wicked cellulose. Well, me, Ivan and perhaps Giju made some noise in the class to spice things up as always and were asked to draw difficult diarams. Those in the front row need only draw the simple ones, starting from glucose. However, one of the girls had to draw a trigylceride structure. =O. My turn to go to the front to draw was just after her. By the way, if the person before you can't draw the diagram, the person after him/her will take over the task. Well, my triglyceride diagram wasn't complete and what she drew included the glycerol and fatty acids merging to form a triglyceride. However, she did not know the name of the bond between the two molecules and kept guessing.
Of course I don't know what is the answer, silly. My diagram wasn't complete. I started thinking about my form 5 chemistry, organic carbon. The thought of fat as an ester came to my mind. Heh. So I made a wild guess and asked, "Is it ester?". Steven who sat in front replied, "Yes, it is". By then, the girl wrote the bond as ester bond and indeed it was correct. Sad for me I had to draw the trigylceride diagrams 20 times for helping a classmate. Sigh. Anyway, I pulled Steven along. Sorry bro, haha. Thus, I had to draw 10 triglyceride diagrams and Steven had 10 too. The big quiz will be coming up on this Wednesday. Ah, wish me the best!
After biology, we went to the room 102 for our pure maths. We sat down for like 10 minutes and the teacher hasn't even entered the class yet. We were quite happy as it's the first time we're having a free period! WohooO! Then it was 1/2 and hour of our pure maths time wasted. Another classmate came to class 102 and said, "Eh, pure maths in room 307 la". All of us were like oh noes! Apparently INTI had a last minute change on rooms. We had no break because of the minor hiccups.
Why are we waiting?
The pure maths class was more lively this time! People made noise till the lecturer had to tell the class to keep quiet. LoL. Anyway, there was this guy who kept asking questions. It's not wrong to ask questions! Don't be shy! =P. At one point during the class, that guy asked another question. Before he could finish his question, Giju answered loudly "Cannot la!" ( I'm not sure whether that was his response ) without knowing what the question was, of course. Everyone laughed. Ha ha!
The almighty retort stand
Had another Physics practical today. It was about the gravitational acceleration. My acceleration was at 9.37. Sigh, nowhere near the 9.81. Anyhow it was acceptable. Practical ended early today and we went out in search for a place to have our lunch. Ditched the plan to eat tom yam fried frice and went towards Mac centre to collect some items. Ivan, Giju and me were walking aimlessly as we are not familiar with SS15. We walked up the row of shops and stumbled upon a decent looking eatery. When we entered, we saw Steven and some of our classmates. Muahahha. We joined them for lunch. By the way, every dish was at RM 5. I took a BBQ Beef rice. It came with a free ice lemon tea. I guess it's worth the money.
