Feel her wrath

Mr. Ong lectured us on trigonometry today. Keep trying Sarven, I know you have a hard time pronouncing trigonometry. Well, this topic was identical to what we would have learnt in form 5. However we only went through the easy part of it as the harder part was to come somewhat later. Guess what? Mr. Ong gave more work. No, there goes my holiday mood! Still have to think of the biology test as well as the Malaysian Studies assignment during the holidays. Well, Mr. Ong commented about some of the student's attitudes who did not look for him to discuss about their workings in the recent mathematics exam but complained about him behind his back. Sometimes I feel pity for him as he has to tolerate the noisy and rowdy mathematics class. Sorry for being so noisy Mr. Ong.

Awaiting lunch time

I was falling asleep during Chemistry class today. Struggled to stay awake while Mrs. Ling lectured about the ideal gas. Her class ended early today and then my friends and I went to the A-Levels office to take some oranges. Met the whole lot of seniors there too. We we're lucky that Mr. Sam was not in his office when we took some oranges if not he will be questioning us again. Went back to class and then it was Mr. Yeoh's turn at lecturing. Today, we discussed about the tutorials we have done recently. Had lunch after that. My meal cost me RM 2.70. That's too much man.

Food test

Recently we made our biology lecturer mad by keeping quiet. She decided to retaliate today. Since we kept quiet on Monday the whole class, she decided to ignore Steven, Ivan and I while talking to the rest of the class. We did food test today. It was exactly like what we have read in our form 5 textbooks. The only difference is, we actually got the opportunity to carry it out ourselves. Other than that, it was the first time I saw the Sudan III solution and verify the presence of protein without using Millon's reagent. It was a nice experiment to carry out as the end result came in different colours and pattern. Cool.

Colours of the rainbow

Today's experiment took about one hour as we had to prepare almost 30 test tubes to carry out tests on different food samples. The food samples were of potato, peanut, onion, milk and soya bean. The milk was unpleasant to my sense of smell. I dislike milk a lot. On the other hand, I did not know that you could make potato juice. After completing the food tests, Steven and I went berserk. We mixed the food samples and the solutions at random to create random colours and effects. A nice effect was the soya bean or milk oozing out of the test tube as acid and alkali was poured into the test tube. Steven had a bright idea. He made all seven colours of the rainbow out of the materials available too him. Creative ain't he? In the end, Ms. Irene forgot all about ignoring Steven, Ivan and I. What do you expect? She is our lecturer. We ask questions, she has to answer. =P

Malaysian Studies

Guess what? We had extra time even after messing around in the biology lab and washing all the test tubes. My friends and I went to 7-11 to get slurpee again. Yes, I know it's bad for health but we're addicted. Today, I made a slurpee tower to get the best of my RM 1.80. Even so, the cup was not compacted with slurpee. Pang Keat's one was though. I'll make an even higher slurpee tower tomorrow! not forgetting that I will be able to redeem a free slurpee tomorrow! Acquired the five stamps in two days! Malaysian studies ended on time today due to a classwork assignment she gave us. Finished it with no time to spare. At least I have less one assignment to do. Yay. Went home soon after and noticed a gigantic leaf in my garden.

How big is it?
