The lab coat
Class was supposed to kick off with biology today. However, Steven told me that he received a message from Daniel, a S2 student that Ms. Irene was at the hospital with her husband. We did not believe that news a hundred percent and Steven messaged Ms. Irene and it was confirmed. No biology! Can I hear you say "NO BIOLOGY!"? Due to that, we spent two hours in the concourse. A few of us helped with the valentine's day booth. Put up some notices around the college too about the sales and the Saturday night event. On the other hand, Steven and I bought some valentine's day message cards and started world war three on the message board. I was impersonating him looking for company and he was impersonating me doing the same. Heh. Just for laughs and memories. xD

Rise and shine!
Therefore, class kicked off with a chemistry practical. It was titration yet again. However, this time there was less liquid and more solids! It was easier to handle. Did the titration as fast as I could as I am trying to beat Yu Han's time. However, he was sick today and was absent from class. Oh well. Today's indicator was methyl orange. It was a pain in the neck. You'll see why later. As the solid is mixed with deionised water, the solid dissolves and the colour of the solution becomes chalky white. When mixed with the indicator, it was as though as the solution inside was mango yoghurt. At first, Mrs. Ling said that the end point was when the solution changed colour to pink. Seemed simple right? When the solution is pink in colour and left for a while, it changes back to orange/yellow colour. Anyhow, Mrs. Ling decided that the end point is when the solution changes colour from yellow to orange. Even with that adjustment, the readings were still off. In the end, she allowed us to falsify the readings.

Which is the end point?
Today was not just about titration and experiments. We got our laboratory coat at last. After almost two weeks. We tried out laboratory coats on and posed for the camera. Note that the picture of me was taken by Steven. After that, we headed out to Chong's Cafe and had our lunch.

Future scientists
Ivan was still having a bad sore throat and he was out of the value for money game for a week or so. Well anyway, his lunch now only costs him RM 1.00 everyday. Go figure what it is! My lunch was at RM 1.70 today. Had bean curd and an egg today. I'm a vegetarian in college! Giju's lunch was a little more than mine. I had a dessert after lunch and it only cost another RM 1.00. That makes RM 2.70 for today. By the way, the dessert was super sweet! Just the way I like it. Muahahahha. After that, we settled in the class for physics.

Lunch at Chong's
We received our physics test results today. I got a 18/30. How bad is that? Apart from that, we received another tutorial today. Sigh. Work just keeps piling up. Both girls in my class got a 24/30. And they say physics is for boys. What the heck?
