Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman
Had dinner with the presence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong yesterday at Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. My elder sister received the prestigious Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarhip. Out of the 420+ candidates, only 20 people were chosen. We left for the Istana Hotel at 6.30 PM with the federal highway congested with cars. We took a detour and used to Bangsar route and reached the hotel only at 7.55 PM, which was still early. The VIPs were to arrive at 8.15 PM and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at 8.30 PM. As we arrived there, we took some pictures.

During the event, we were not allowed to stand up and walk around to grab some shots. Even so, as the presentation of scholarships began, many of the parents went forward to the stage to grab photos of their child's proud moments. I went forward too. However, the pictures I took turned out blur and useless. Sigh. Food served was of a Chinese and Western mixture. The pineapple fried rice was the worst dish during that night. After the Yang di-Pertuan Agong left the ballroom, I went around taking more shots.
