As you like it

Chemistry was the last subject before college ended today. I text messaged my former schoolmates to ask them whether they would like to go for lunch together. After high school, we seldom meet each other in person and of course we would like to stick with the friends forever motto. Anyway, it is not like we have not met for few years and therefore not much changes are distinct. On the other hand, we are not able to meet frequently as our timetables clashes. As soon as Chemistry ended, I got them to meet up at Chong's Cafe. Then, we decided on which restaurant we should go to have lunch. We decided on "As you like it" which was near the Taylors Business School's building. It was a long and tiring walk for some of us. Girls I mean. =P

Class of chemistry

As we entered the restaurant, I saw Emily Wong. Not the first time I have seen her in person. It's just that, what a coincidence! Our group was of eleven people. The owner had to rearrange his tables to accommodate us. We sat down and placed our orders. They didn't have a large variety of food to choose from. It was mainly noodles and rice only. I took a tom yam fried rice and mango juice. The fried rice was nice although I think too much water was added. The mango juice was disappointing as it was made with syrup and no the real fruit! Sigh.

Apple green or green apple?

Liow Pei Xia, my classmate had a "Green Apple" or "Apple Green". I can't recall the name of the drink. She took a sip and the expression on her face looked as though as that drink tasted horrible. It was too sour it seems. Therefore, she offered me that drink. It tasted quite nice actually. I like sour stuff. Not forgetting sweet stuff too. She gave me a birthday present earlier in the morning too. Thank you! While waiting for the food, we chatted and caught up with one another, as well as meeting new faces.

At 1.30PM, we parted ways after paying the bill of course. The pricing of the food was affordable even though the drinks is a little overpriced. Guess what, those ICPU students were already half an hour late for their class and they don't mind! Is this one of the privileges you get for paying a high price to study in Taylors? I don't know. We helped to carry some of their files and books on our way to the bus stop. Something caught our attention while approaching 7-11.

A friendly note
