Free Coffee

Starbucks gave out free coffee today from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM. My eyes are red, watery and I'm having a bad headache. I'm down. My body has lost the battle but not the war. It seems that I started to feel unwell yesterday evening after my nap. I suspect that because I slept on the floor, I might have allowed bacteria into my system via the nostrils. I am never going to sleep on the floor again, even though it is much cooler than the sofa.

Steven

Mr. Ong was the first lecturer for the day. We are on to vector. The many forms of vectors were described to in English. It was easy to follow even though I studied it in Malay a year ago. Remember the 'i' and 'j'? All this while I just took it as the 'i' was for the x-axis and 'j' for the y-axis. However, Mr. Ong noted down the values of 'i' and 'j'. Interesting isn't it?

Next was chemistry, Mrs. Ling pushed on with the topic of solubility of products. It seems that most salts are insoluble. However, they do dissolve a little bit to a certain extent. Did some exercises and as usual, was asked to sit back at my place while asking Steven whether I am right or wrong. How many times must I make it clear that I am not copying? At 11.00 AM, most of the guys went out of college to Starbucks. The queue was fantastic. The line stretched till the doors of the franchise. I decided not to queue for it. On the other hand, I do not have a liking for coffee. Instead, Steven, Yu Han and I took a walk to 7-11. I bought myself a yoghurt.

They made it out alive

I went back to class first and spotted Mr. Yeoh at the back of the class reading some papers. He gave out answers to the pass year questions. A while after, the guys came back with their prize. A cup of black coffee. Nothing special. However, it was free! Who doesn't want free stuff? Soon after, the whole room was polluted with the smell of coffee. Argh.

Giju enjoying his coffee

The guys got Mr. Yeoh a cup of coffee too. Class was light and easy. Sean gave me a sip of his coffee. Immediately my face showed the sign of dislike. It was bitter. I'm a sweet tooth. On some occasions I do enjoy sour stuff. Took photos of the guys with their coffee. Apparently someone got bathed in coffee. Yeah, spillage happens. We went for lunch at 11.45 AM.

Cheers!

And the whole class goes Coffee!

Later on it was biology. To the lab we go! It was about enzyme activity in different pH. We were divided into groups. I had the pH 7.4 solution and Yu Han was my partner. We completed our experiment the slowest. Reason? We had to redo the whole thing over again due to the lack of iodine drops. Heh. Ms. Irene left the lab for a short while and returned with fruits. She gave me her mango as one of the girls claimed that certain fruits can be fattening. =O

Mary and Shanta

We did not have Malaysian Studies today as the lecturer took leave. Spent time in the A-Levels office till it was 2.30 PM. Walked in the rain to the bus stop. Slept of the sofa and woke up a few hours later that, feeling worse. Going sleep early tonight!
