L license
I just completed my six hours practical and theory of driving at Surfine Hitech which is situated in Damansara today. I am eligible to claim my license to learn driving in a few days! Woot! I was ridiculing those who have their L license by calling it the "Loser's License" because of the big "L" sticker on the vehicle you will be learning to drive on. Sigh. What comes around comes around huh? Even so, I am quite proud to be an owner of the "Loser's License!". Not to worry as I will be upgrading it to a "P" faster than you can call me "loser". Heh.
I was awakened by my hand phone alarm at 6.00 AM but sleepiness kicked in and I was in slumber land soon after. My mom woke me up at 6.30 AM. Just enough time to get ready before getting a lift to the driving academy. I had two packets of maggi mee and four pieces of bread. Hey, I am doing this so that I won't have to spend a single dime on that only blood sucking stall at the centre where I will be spending six hours of my life at. Besides that, I was equipped with a peanut bun in case my stomach decides to grumble. My sister and her friends were on the way to the famous pan mee shop in SS19. I got a lift from her and we left the house at 7.45 AM. As the car was about to turn into the lane of the driving academy, I received a call from them asking whether I am coming or not. I told them I was outside the academy at the time of the call.
Walked up the flight of stairs and saw everyone waiting for me. That time I attended the KPP, my friends and I came early and had to wait for the others. Now it is the time for people to wait for me. Ha ha. I entered the academy, handed over my identification card to the person in charge so that he could make a carbon copy for later use. After a short while, we went downstairs to board the van. It was then I saw a familiar face. It was my primary classmate. I still remember her name. We chatted a bit and soon enough, we were on our way to the most boring six hours of our lives.

When you taught it couldn't get any worse
After the joy ride of twenty minutes or so, we stepped down from the vehicle and proceeded with marking our attendance. After that, we sat down and waited. As usual, I was unable to remain in the chair for long. Not long after, I was walking back and forth outside the makeshift classroom. Not long after, I sat down on a bench outside the classroom and met William, a Taylorian who is the same age as me. We talked a bit. I went back into the classroom to enjoy the air conditioner as well as the smoke free environment. The wait was agonising and I decided to take a cat nap. Suddenly there were a few screams and shrieks. Apparently it was because of a cockroach. Sigh. A few of the girls ran out of the classroom.
Closed my eyes till the clock displayed 10.30 AM. Then, we were directed to either a red or white car. Our pick it seems. I chose to listen to the old man at the white car talk about the Kancil. It seems as though he was in his own world at times. Laughing at his own jokes which I don't seem to quite get. After an hour under the scorching sun, William, my primary classmate and I were called to another classroom. We were quite confused with the direction given and we entered the wrong class. However, we were wise enough to make a decision to transfer to the correct classroom.
There, we sat down and listened for another two hours. We were called to the front to leave our signature before leaving the classroom at 1.40 PM. Besides that, all of us had to "check-out" at the main office before we can go home. However, the van was not here to pick us up yet. I chatted with William and we got ourselves a drink as the sun was at its peak and we were getting dehydrated. A moment passed and this girl who was a passenger in the van earlier asked us to accompany her to eat at the stall so that she wouldn't look like a loner. I warned her that the food was expensive and not appealing before hand but she insisted. She took a coke and maggi goreng it seems. The price for the maggi was RM 4.50. That is an outrage! To add salt to the wound, she only finished half of it.

Never ever come here!
We talked among each other after that. Time flew and it was pass the time for our transport to arrive and pick us. The boss of the academy arrived only at 4.00 PM or so. However, it might be a blessing as we got to know each other more. I am certainly impressed with this girl's stand in life. It is quite hard to find people like this nowadays. Alright I know you guys are curious about her. She's all the flowery words many guys would say to court a girl.*Fingers crossed*
After a long wait only were we able to be on our way home. Only then I asked her her name. Karyn is the name. I spelled her name wrong the first time and got it correct the second time. At the end of the day, the six hours of lessons were actually two hours of sleeping, one hour of looking at a Kancil, two hours of theory and the other hour to please the JPJ requirements. If you're still extremely curious about her, you can do so by visiting her blog.
