23rd District Rotaract Assembly - Welcoming Dinner
Four of us went up to our respective rooms. Giju took his bath first while I waited patiently. As soon as he was out from the bathroom, I got him to flex his muscles and took a picture of him. I went into the bathroom after that to take a bath. Later, Rafferty and Ivan came down to our room. We stayed in the room for a while before making our way to the welcoming dinner.

And everyone screams!
Dinner commenced at 7.30 PM. By then, many new faces were spotted. A wide range of food was served but it was more on appetizers and desserts. There were not many choices to choose from to go with the rice. The spicy chicken soup was nice. We helped ourselves to a few bowls. I did take some rojak, flooded with the sweet and spicy sauce. I have to watch my sugar levels very soon! During the dinner, there were a few announcements made, such as the ice breaking session which was to be held after the dinner as well as a little reminder on punctuality for tomorrow's session.

Ice breakers were to be held on the beach which involve teamwork and running like a headless chicken. However, luck was not on our side that day. The wind was blowing at speeds enough to knock you off your feet. Flashes of lightning was also visible and the heavens began to pour out soon after. We were confined indoors therefore. We played a game where a someone is appointed as a leader, and everyone in the group has to imitate his actions. Someone randomly chosen would be required to find who is the person whose actions are imitated. Of course that person would be kept away from the group while a leader is chosen. =) Next was a game called the moo moo club. Yet another mind boggling game. I couldn't crack the code. Sigh. They gave us a short break after that. We went up to our room and came back down soon after. We went back to the room and they were playing a game called fuzzy wuzzy. Ivan managed to crack the code instantly. Hooray! We went back to our rooms for a good night rest at 11.00 PM.
