Dungeon what?
Dungeon Siege II to be exact. I know this game surfaced two years ago, and is considered an old game. Well, I borrowed the DVD from my friend today, whom loaned the DVD to another friend recently. I took the game home without knowing what the gameplay would be like. It was a bet. The person who loaned it previously mentioned that the game was boring. I didn't ask why but I presumed it was due to personal preferences. Installed the game after I freed some space on my drive.

My eyes!
The very first time I entered the game menu. I was quite disappointed. The graphics are comparable to that of starcraft! Just slightly better. I dove into the options menu and switched every option I could find to the best. Guess what? There was no visible change to the main menu! The graphics looked the same. As usual, the game starts with an introductory movie. The graphics was horrendous too. Guess I can't complain on a two years ago game.
The movie came to an end and the game officially kicked off. Then only I saw the in-game graphics. It was nice. Bearable to the eye. Gameplay? It was like the classic diablo. However, it was way more complex. You can organise parties, select which type of abilities a certain character would learn. In short, you select who does what and who's in your party. The problem with this kind of genre is the large areas to explore as well as the super slow walking speed. I just don't have the patience to stare at the screen and wait. Not to mention with the addition of sidequests, time spent on the game would be increased greatly.

My Party
Even so, I'm still playing this game, just for the storyline I suppose. I have already resorted to cheating as I could not get past a certain group of monsters in the forest. Ha ha. I am such a poor gamer. =)
