Six for one

Disclaimer - This post is based purely on my own opinion and also my short term memory. It won't be 100% accurate but I hope it'll do. If the post becomes extremely boring, it's because I got bored of writing this post. If so, just look at the pictures. Have a nice day!

Prelude
Done with the Summer Splash, I had another event to go for. This time it was a play at my friend's church. Six for one as it is called. After the Summer Splash, I went to the washroom to change into another pair of clothes. Done with that, went to to Uncle Lim's restaurant which serves nasi lemak and tea time snacks. I had a beef nasi lemak. A bad choice. Had a hard time eating the beef. It was too dry. Plus, I didn't have a drink even after being dehydrated. That was my dinner. Cost me near to RM 9. What a ripoff. At 6.00 PM, got a lift from my friend to drop me off at the church. Miracuously I remembered the way there. It's in the middle of nowhere! Okay, fine. It's in the middle of the industrial area. There were very little people present at the time of my arival. Except those involved in the event of course. I was super early. Passed time by playing games on my hand phone.

Act 1
The event kicked off at 8.15 PM. Everyone was ushered upstairs before then. The crowd took their seats, filling up the front rows and leaving the back rows vacant for the late comers. As for me, I stood at the back to shoot the play. The organisers had some rules against the usage of electronic devices. That included the usage of the camera. I asked them why. It was because the usage of flash is prohibited as it would disrupt the atmosphere. I gave them my word that my camera flash will not be raised throughout the whole play. I got the green light. It started with an opening speech as well as some reminders. The usual thing. The lights dimmed. Then, the red spotlights were switched on, focusing the middle of the stage. Two guys were trying to escape from a building which was hit by an earthquake ( correct me on this if I'm wrong ). Then, a cry for help was heard. One of them decided to stay back and attempt to rescue the trapped soul. The latter took flight off to safety. The cry for help belonged to a lady trapped under some rubble. The guy tried to move the debri but to no avail.

Act 2
The lights dimmed again. When the lights came on, there were a number of characters on stage. The emcee was there to explain a thing or two. The characters represented figures that appear often in the every day life of a little girl. Mom, Uncle Boyfriend, Teacher and the Dad. This scene potrays what she encounters as a little girl. She sat in the middle of the stage, making a doll with cardboard. The doll was depicts the little girl. The mom comes up to her, praises her for the creativity shown but asks her not to waste time on useless things ( Yet again, I'm not very sure about this part ). The mom then hangs a sign with the word "guilt" over her. Next was the dad. He is potrayed as someone abusive as well as the tyrant. The little girl gets a piece of his mind and a sign which bears the word "shame" over her. Next was the boyfriend. He is seen taking advantage of the girl the little girl. Well of course what we saw on stage was just verbal. Don't expect a scene on stage. The sign which went on was "shame" I think. The last was the teacher. As you would expect, the usual ranting and scolding from the teacher. Can't recall which sign went on after that. Then, all four characters moved in a circle around her till the little girl gave a loud scream in despair. Just a side note, the doll got torn into two sometime during the appearance of the four characters. The little girl then hangs each sign over the four but this time the word "blame" appears. However, the doll still remains in two pieces. A guy portaying Jesus then appears and attaches the broken parts back together. The four characters then attempts to hang the signs back on the little girl but was shown a "No" sign. The lights dimmed.

Act 3
T
he scene shifted to a restaurant. Candlelight on both tables. It started off with the woman. She had her meal and called for the waiter. Bill please. What she ordered was tasty but bad for health. No need to elaborate on this. It represented sin. The price? Death. Not even Mastercard or Visa could foot the bill. To hell with you! A few hooded characters grab hold of her and dragged her away. The patron on the next table had a meal with mostly good dishes. The price for it was still death. However, the patron had a slip which says "paid for by the chef's son". Spared from death it is.

Act 4
Up next was a dance. Nothing much to elaborate here. Just look at the pictures. =)

Act 5
Next was a court scene. There was a prosecutor, the head judge and two defendants. The wrongdoings of both defendants were read out by the prosecutor. Both of them deserved the death penalty even though one of them committed less severe acts of crime. A sin is a sin. There is no measure of how big or small is a sin. However, the judge's verdict was to release them both for the price has been paid. The judge raised his hands to display the wounds on both his hands.

Act 6
T
his scene is about a guy who learns his ways from Jesus. Along the way, he is then tempted by the evil one over and over again. He hesitates at first and a classic struggle between good and evil ensued. He had lost himself to the dark side in the end. The scene quickly moved to a nightclub. There was dancing, drinking, getting into a fight because of a girl and ultimately committing murder in a fit of anger. However, Jesus did not forsake him. He took the guy's bloody hands and wiped the blood on himself. He was then killed in the place of that guy for the price of sin is death. It did not end there however for Jesus rose again.

Act 1 Continues
The scene of the collapsing building came on again. This time the lady told the guy to leave her and make a dash for his life. However, the guy stood firm on his decision to remain with her. When asked why, he answered "Jesus did not forsake me, therefore I shall not leave you here". Seconds later, the gas pipeline exploded and both of them were killed immediately ( Of course ). They both woke up in a bright place. Heaven.
