Jian Wei's Column - Sarven and SPM

For starters, allow me to wish my good friend, Sarven Shan s/o Muniandi, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I sent him a text message this afternoon, which went like this:
"Hello Ass Hole! Happy Birthday! May the force be with you!"
Sarven and I have been friends since Form 1. He has always been the epitome of the "free and easy" attitude and not to mention an ardent fan of Star Wars too (psst....more like obsession). Over the years, both of us have gone through plenty of ups and downs. We stuck together as a team: each compensating for the other's weaknesses. What started off as a mere partnership in the prefect board has led to a whole new level of friendship that I still cherish to this day. Though the both of us posses completely different characters and passions, we always managed to find a common ground. And through this common ground we shine.
I will never forget this man. And all those times we have gone through. We have shown our juniors and the school that with teamwork and sheer endurance, even pygmies can shake the world.
Happy Birthday Sarven! May the force be with you!
------
To all those who are about to sit for their SPM this coming Monday, I wish you the best of luck! And may you all achieve the best you can ever give. Especially to all Form 5 Twelveans out there: GO PEOPLE!!!
Don't let SPM take you down!
It is through the voices of friends we all share,
The bliss of happiness and care,
I dedicate this to the soldiers of Monday,
May your success shine through the gloomy day!
